Prof. Neeraj Dwivedi, Director – IIM Kashipur

Prof. Neeraj Dwivedi is the Director of IIM Kashipur, appointed in July 2025 to lead the institute’s next phase of growth. A seasoned academician and strategist with over 25 years of experience, he previously served as a Professor of Strategic Management at IIM Lucknow, where he held pivotal leadership roles including Dean (Faculty and Programs) and was instrumental in the institute’s AACSB accreditation. Notably, he served as the National Convener for CAT 2017, managing one of India’s most complex competitive examinations. His academic journey includes faculty positions at IIM Indore, IIM Kozhikode, and the Asian Institute of Technology, Thailand, complemented by nearly seven years of corporate experience with organizations like NTPC, ONGC, and McKinsey & Co. An alumnus of IIM Lucknow (FPM), IIT Kharagpur (MTech), and GB Pant University (BTech), Prof. Dwivedi is widely recognized for his expertise in corporate governance and mergers & acquisitions, having received multiple national and international research and teaching awards
