Mr. Dharmendra Sachan,  GM- Exim Bank

Mr. Dharmendra Sachan is a seasoned General Manager at Export-Import Bank of India (Exim Bank), where he currently leads Marketing Advisory Services, the Knowledge Centre, and Exim Mitra, a specialized trade information and facilitation portal. Since beginning his career with Exim Bank in 1997, he has held diverse leadership roles, previously heading the bank’s Information Technology, Grassroots Initiatives and Development, and Rajbhasha groups. With over 26 years of extensive experience in banking and information science, Mr. Sachan has also served as the Chief Learning Officer at Bank of Baroda, where he spearheaded the establishment of an RFID-based Learning Resource Centre. His technical expertise is backed by a master’s degree in library & information science from the University of Rajasthan and a diploma in Computer Science. Notably, he has automated more than 75 libraries across India, Southeast Asia, and Central America. Beyond his professional role, he is an avid cyclist and a recipient of the prestigious ‘Brevets RandonneursMondiaux’ medal.
