Mr. Amitava Ray is a seasoned business leader and management advisor with extensive experience in the packaging, metals, and manufacturing sectors. He currently serves as Management Advisor at A.R. Management Solutions Pvt. Ltd. and Executive Vice Chairman of Vijayneha Polymers Pvt. Ltd., where he contributes strategic guidance and industry expertise to support business growth and operational excellence.

Over the course of his distinguished career, Mr. Ray has held several prominent leadership positions across major organizations. He served as Member of the Board and Group President (Packaging) at Uflex, where he played a key role in strengthening the company’s position in the global flexible packaging industry. He has also served as President of Indian Aluminium Company Limited (INDAL), contributing to the advancement of aluminium-based industrial and packaging solutions.

Mr. Ray was the Managing Director and CEO of India Foils Limited, where he led the company’s growth in aluminium foil and packaging products. His leadership experience also extends to the corporate boardroom, having served as a Board Member of Bata, a globally recognized footwear and retail brand.

In addition to his corporate leadership roles, Mr. Ray has contributed to public sector governance and institutional oversight. He served as a government-nominated Independent Director at KIOCL (Kudremukh Iron Ore Company Limited) and as Chairman of the Audit Committee at Andrew Yule & Company Limited, supporting financial governance and strategic decision-making.
