Mr. Amit Love is Scientist ‘E’ in the Hazardous Substances Management (HSM) Division of the Ministry of Environment, Forest and Climate Change (MoEFCC), Government of India. In this role, he contributes to policy development, regulatory oversight, and technical evaluation related to hazardous substances management and environmental protection.
He has previously served as Scientist-D/Joint Director in the Ozone Cell of MoEFCC, where he was involved in initiatives aligned with ozone layer protection and international environmental commitments. His work encompasses environmental research and regulatory frameworks, including studies related to botanical species such as Lantana and broader hazardous chemicals management.
Through his roles within MoEFCC, Mr. Love has been actively engaged in advancing India’s environmental governance, compliance systems, and sustainable development objectives.
