Dr. Subodh Kumar

Dr. Subodh Kumar is a 2010-batch Indian Administrative Service (IAS) officer of the Tamil Nadu cadre who currently serves as Director in the Ministry of Ayush, Government of India. His appointment to the ministry was formalized in May 2024 by the Department of Personnel and Training (DoPT), with his central deputation tenure recently extended until October 8, 2026. Prior to this role, Dr. Kumar served as the Private Secretary to the Minister for Food Processing Industries, a position that was later upgraded to the Director level. In his current capacity, he is actively involved in national initiatives such as the Rashtriya Karmayogi Jan Seva Program, focusing on enhancing public service delivery within the traditional medicine sectors.
