Dr. P. Narender Raju is a distinguished Senior Scientist in the Dairy Technology Division at the ICAR-National Dairy Research Institute (NDRI), Karnal, where he focuses on Food Science and Technology with a specialization in dairy and food packaging. His research primarily centers on the development of active, intelligent, and biodegradable packaging systems, including innovations such as electrospun smart oxygen sensors and bionanocomposite films. Beyond packaging, he has made significant contributions to the processing of composite dairy foods and the development of health foods, such as iron-fortified paneer and flaxseed lignan-enriched fermented milk. A recognized academic, Dr. Raju has received multiple Best Teacher Awards from NDRI and has served as a member of the FSSAI Scientific Panel on Milk and Milk Products. His professional international exposure includes serving as a visiting researcher at the School of Packaging, Michigan State University, and as visiting faculty in Myanmar.
