Mr. Tine Žlebnik is an experienced sales executive and international business development leader with more than two decades of leadership experience in entrepreneurship, marketing, and high-technology B2B markets. He has completed two faculty programs specializing in entrepreneurship and marketing, building a strong foundation in business strategy and global market development.
Since 2011, Mr. Žlebnik has been leading the global sales strategy at ECHO Instruments, a company specializing in advanced scientific instrumentation. In this role, he is responsible for expanding international markets and promoting innovative respirometry systems used for biodegradation testing and environmental analysis. His work supports applications across sectors such as environmental research, wastewater treatment, biotechnology, and pharmaceutical manufacturing.
Mr. Žlebnik manages and develops a wide international network of distributors and partners across Europe, Asia, and the Americas, strengthening ECHO Instruments’ global presence. He works closely with research institutions, laboratories, and industrial clients to provide advanced testing solutions, including automatic respirometry systems for biodegradation analysis and technologies used in modified atmosphere packaging testing for the pharmaceutical and food industries.
A key part of his role involves collaborating with R&D and engineering teams to design customized scientific systems tailored to specific research and industrial requirements, including biodegradability testing of plastics, soil, compost, and other materials. He also represents the company at international conferences, trade fairs, and technical seminars, contributing to knowledge exchange and strengthening industry partnerships.
Through his leadership in global sales, strategic partnerships, and customer-focused innovation, Mr. Tine Žlebnik has played a significant role in establishing ECHO Instruments as a recognized global brand in respirometry and biodegradation technology.
