Shri. Sanjiv Kumar is Joint Secretary at the Department for Promotion of Industry and Internal Trade (DPIIT), Ministry of Commerce and Industry, Government of India. In this capacity, he plays a key role in policy formulation and implementation aimed at strengthening India’s industrial growth, investment climate, and ease of doing business.

He is involved in strategic initiatives related to industrial development, regulatory reforms, intellectual property rights, and promotion of domestic manufacturing under national development programs. His responsibilities include inter-ministerial coordination, stakeholder engagement, and driving policy frameworks that enhance competitiveness and attract both domestic and foreign investments.
