Pawandeep Sahni is the Managing Director of Omet India Pvt. Ltd., leading the Indian arm of the Italian printing equipment major since its establishment in 2019. Based in Gurugram, he has been instrumental in building the company’s footprint in India’s packaging and label printing industry.

With over two decades of experience in printing and packaging, he transitioned from Weldon Celloplast formerly Omet’s sales agent to head the direct subsidiary, strengthening localized sales, service, and technical support across labels, cartons, and shrink sleeve segments. Under his leadership, Omet India has positioned itself as a center of competence, delivering advanced hybrid press solutions aligned with the philosophy of “Sasta, Sundar, Tikau” (affordable, attractive, and durable).

He actively promotes cutting-edge combination press technologies integrating Offset, Flexo, Gravure, and Screen processes. A strong advocate of “Packerting” the fusion of packaging and marketing he encourages printers to move beyond conventional CMYK printing toward special effects, variable data printing (VDP), augmented reality (AR), and virtual reality (VR) enhancements.

Recognized as a thought leader, he frequently speaks at major industry platforms including Flexo Summit Asia and PrintPack, championing high-speed, sustainable, and cost-efficient printing technologies for India’s evolving packaging market.
