Dr. Vishal Choudhary is a Scientist ‘F’ in the Office of the Principal Scientific Adviser (PSA) to the Government of India, having joined in February 2024. He leads initiatives on Science & Technology (S&T) clusters, international collaborations, and policy, previously working in the Department of Chemicals & Petrochemicals.

• Role & Responsibilities: As Scientist F, he focuses on S&T clusters (e.g., Electric Vehicles, Advanced Materials, Health Tech), and fostering collaboration between research institutions, academia, and industry.
• Background & Expertise: He holds a Doctorate in Chemical Sciences and has over 20 years of experience in the chemical, pesticide, and pharmaceutical industries, including roles in MNCs and PSUs.
• Previous Experience: He served as a Deputy Industrial Advisor in the Department of Chemicals & Petrochemicals, Ministry of Chemicals and Fertilizers, where he handled policy, environmental conventions (Rotterdam, Stockholm, Montreal), and industrial clusters.
• Recognition: He is a recognized expert in the Indian scientific community and an alumnus of Kendriya Vidyalaya.
